Mrs. Jesse Franklin of Irving Suddenly Dies At Her Home
Mrs. Renatha Franklin, wife of Jesse Franklin, of Irving died suddenly Saturday morning at 2:30 o'clock at her home. Mrs. Franklin had not been feeling well for some time but it is thought she suffered a heart attack.
She was born in Emma, Missouri on May 11, 1893, the daughter of the late William and Anna Lippard Fricke and was aged 64 years five months and one day.
Her marriage to Jesse Franklin occurred June 28, 1911 in Parsons, Kansas and he survives. Also surviving are three brothers, August Fricke of Parsons, Kansas, Joseph Fricke of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Herman Fricke of California and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Bolander of Parsons, Kansas and Mrs. Grace Stewart of Washington, D.C.
A sister, Mrs. Cora Bolander and a brother, Robert Fricke preceded her in death.
Mrs. Franklin was a member of the Irving Lutheran Church and the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Irving.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Irving Lutheran Church with Rev. Jens Larson, pastor of the Lutheran Church officiating. Interment was in Irving Cemetery.
