Charles Joshua Glover died in a Clinton hospital Saturday morning after an illness of four months. He was born near Marceline MO on Aug. 7, 1881. When a small child he moved with his parents to Kansas where he lived until a young man, then moved to Gotebo where he lived several years. He later moved back to Kansas, returning to Gotebo in 1935, where he made his home until his death. He was preceded in death by his father, George Glover in 1910 and his mother, Elizabeth Glover in 1924; also two sisters, Estil (Estel) and Grace, when they were young women. He is survived by five brothers and two sisters; John of Gotebo, Rol (Roy) of Oney, Alva of Hobart, Clarence of Mtn. View, Arlie of Loving NM, Mrs. Florence Ward of Gotebo, and Mrs. Edith Campbell of Hobart.
