Funeral Service For John Glover Held Near Gotebo.
Services for John Glover, Gotebo, father of Mrs. Ethelyn Malone, Carnegie, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Odessa church, northwest of Gotebo. Rev. Walter Williams, Gotebo, officiated.
Born September 21, 1885, in Marceline, Mo., Glover, who was visiting with his daughter, Mrs. Malone, died at her home here Friday, May 29. He had been a resident of Gotebo since 1908.
He is survived by his wife, Stella, of the home at Gotebo; and four children, Mrs. Malone, Carnegie, Jim and Shux Glover of Gotebo, and Peggy Clark of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Al Glover, Hobart, Arlie Glover, Carlsbad, N.M. and Ted Glover, Gotebo; and a sister, Mrs. Edith Campbell, Hobart.
Note: Ted Glover in the obit is an error. Should be Teck Glover.
