Truman vanished from and reappeared in Smiths Grove (Bobby Ewing without the dream). He was in a boarding house in Mich in 1930 with occupation as salesman. He returned to Ky in 1940 census (yes, he IS there; if someone is not familiar with SG, he may not be noticed.
My sources indicate there was no "family reunion" nor "Welcome home" party.
The subject's inicate he was not cohabitating with his wife nor is her name referenced in said obit.
