McCREA _ Elizabeth Pheobe (nee Kezar) Elizabeth Pheobe McCrea passed away peacefully at the Bethany Care Centre in Calgary on February 9, 2009 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Davidson (Dave) McCrea, loving and devoted mother to James of Calgary, John (Jenny) of North Hatley, Quebec, and Judy (Debbie) of Calgary and Dear grandmother to Melanie of Calgary and Matthew of Lennoxville, Quebec. Elizabeth also leaves her sister Betty (the late Howard Mouland) of Beaconsfield, Quebec, sister-in-law Dorathy (McCrea) Easley of Rockport, Maine as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents Simon and Genieve (Brodine) Kezar and sisters, Adeline (Larry Allen) and Imogene (Wally Browning). At Elizabeth's request, Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at LEYDEN'S FUNERAL HOME (corner of 17 Avenue and 2 Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta) on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in North Hatley, Quebec in the Spring. If friends so desire, donations in Elizabeth's memory may be made to the Bethany Care Centre (916 - 18 A Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1C6) or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (200, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 1Z6).
