Braddyville. May 28--Fred Milleson and children have the sympathy of their loss of a kind and loving wife and mother. She had been a constant sufferer for many ears with T.B. and the last few days she became suddenly worse and was called to her eternal resting place Saturday afternoon. She leaves besides her husband, four small children, Mary, 8 years, Agnes 6 years, Alfred 4 years and Junior 19 months. A very sad case indeed. She was laid to rest by loving hands Monday afternoon at Clarinda. The four children are staying with their grandmother, Mrs Rosella Milleson at Clarinda. Mr Milleson is staying at the Silas Manley home here. He is section foreman. CLARINDA HERALD, Clarinda, Iowa, May 30, 1929

Bertha Mae Anderson was born at Shambaugh, Iowa, September 19th, 1900, died at Braddyville, Ia, May 25th, 1929, being 28 years, 8 months and 6 days old. She grew to woman hood at Shambaugh and New Market and was educated in the public schools. August 23rd, 1919 she was married to Fred L. Milleson, in St Joseph, Mo. To them were born four children, Mary Rosella, Agnes, Alfred and Freddie, Jr.

Besides the four children and husband she leaves her mother, one sister, two brothers, five half sisters and two half-brothers to mourn her early departure.

At the age of 17 she confessed her faith in Christ and united with the Christian church at New Market. And as we are compelled so soon to bid her good-bye we can truthfully say "She has done what she could."--Mark 14.8.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Christian Church at Braddyville, conducted by Rev G.W. Kitchen of Villisca. Interment in Clarinda cemetery. The flower girls were Violet Holbrook, Dorothy Wort, Ruth Snively and Dorothy Twaddle. Music was furnished by the Live Wire class of Christian Sunday School. Pall bearers were Claude Apple, Dell Holbrook, Earl Wasson, Elliott and Frank Lister and Luther Buckminster. CLARINDA HERALD, Clarinda, Iowa, May 30, 1929
