Ross Anderson, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Major Anderson of New Market, died very suddenly Wednesday night at the home of a distant relative John Martin, at Quitman, Mo., aged 20 years. The funeral was held at the home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev Dezell of the Methodist church conducting the services with burial services conducted at the Old Memory cemetery at New Market.
He had gone down to Skidmore [Missouri] and there was taken sick very suddenly. He was taken by car in order that he might return home, but life was too short after they started for him to be brought back to New Market, and he had to be taken to Quitman [Missouri] where he passed away. His death was found to have resulted from acute indigestion.
Besides his parents he leaves to survive him his young wife, daughter of A.P. Kent, who is known well around Clarinda as Gladys Kent before marriage, and several brothers and sisters and other relatives.

He was married to Miss Gladys Kent in Bedford on Dec 15, 1923. He was a faithful member of the Christian church. The family has the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
