James Wallace "Jim Boy" Mitchell
91, departed this life on January, 11, 2012, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center. He was born on June 10, 1920 in Nicholas County to the late Bill Glass & Ruthie Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell was a life long famer & a member of Fox Valley Community Church. He was preceded in death by a son Larry Mitchell, grandson Michael Dale Hunt, his parents, half brother Billy Glass, & half sisters Hallie & Sally Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Lida Belle Earlywine Mitchell
Children: Barbare (Joe) Wade, Patsy (Darrell) Marshall, Franklin "Danky" (Janetta) Mitchell, Hank Mitchell, Cathy (Billy) Watkin, Edith (Arthur) Linville, Lonnie Mitchell, Sue (Dean) Mitchell, & Richard (Marsha) Mitchell
Also surviving are 21 Grandchildren & 34 Great Grandchildren
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Gaylord Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 AM Saturday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family in care of the family.
