Nora Elizabeth Boshears, 87, of the Fairview community, passed away December 7, 2003. Born in Claiborne County, December 24, 1915, she was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James M. and Grace Marlow Day; her husband, Ed Boshears, Jr.; one grandson, Gary Lee Jeffers; five brothers: Harold, James, John, Art, and Paul; and three sisters: Imogene, Mae, and Evalee. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by four sons: Ed Boshears, Jr. and wife, Jennifer; Curtis Boshears and wife, Ann; and Gary Boshears and wife, Carol, all of the Fairview community; and Paul Boshears and wife, Patsy, of Oneida; six daughters: Bonnie Murley and husband, Johnny; Loretta Hatfield and husband, Ray; Janetta Davis and husband, Ted; and Judy Smith and husband, Junior, all of the Fairview community; Kathleen Burke and husband, J.D., of Oneida; and Geneva Hatfield and husband, Floyd, of Greentown, Ind.; 21 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, three sisters: Violet Huddleston and Ruth Davis, both of Clairfield, Tenn.; and Grace Noland of Sevierville; special friend, Florence Byrd; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other relatives. Funeral service was to have been conducted De ember 10, at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Ainsworth and Rev. Michael Ray Jeffers officiating. Music was to have been provided by The Hamby Brothers. Interment was to have followed in Fairview Cemetery. Jones & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
