He was Stationed in Utrecht in the Army 1st regiment Field Artillery, after which he went to work for the Dutch railroad in Amsterdam, Groningen, Utrecht and Limburg. He could make his own suits, was handy with anything he put his mind to. He died in Utrecht right after his retirement.
