Mrs. Amanda Temple, widow of Robert Temple, 327 Howard avenue, Altoona, died Tuesday morning, Jan 30, 1940, at 2:55 o'clock at Altoona hospital.

Born April 16, 1855 at Orbisonia, she was the duaghter of Greenbury and Prudence Long. She was twice married.

Members of the family include, to the first marriage, two daughters, Mrs. Mona Lenz and Mrs. Lena Smith, both at home. To the second marriage, Mrs. Walter Levergood of Johnstown, Harry Temple of Niles, O., and Clayton Temple of Erie, and a brother Dyson Long of Altoona.

Mrs. Temple was a member of the First Baptist church, the Anoma Bible class, Dames of Malta No. 1, and P.O. of A. camp No. 206, all of Altoona.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Carey S. Thomas at the First Baptist church, Altoona, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in Fairview cemetery, at Altoona. Friends are being received at the home.
