Born in Ketlethorpe Hall, Yorkshire, England and died in Paris, Seine, France.

The eldest son of George Chapple Norton and Caroline Norton; he died in Paris at the age of thirty of tuberculosis.

Burial: St. Mary's Chapel:

The Honorable George Chapel Norton in 1847 bought the west front and erected it at one corner of the artificial lake at Kettlethorpe Hall, where it serves as the front of a boathouse. On October 25th, 1859, this building was used as a mortuary chapel for the remains of Fletcher Charles Conyers Norton, one of the Secretaries of her majesty's Legation at Athens, which were placed there to lie in state until the time of internment. The building was hung with black cloth, and lighted candles were placed around the corpse. Two days later the burial service of the Roman Catholic Church was conducted in the extempore chapel, and the body was interred in Sandal churchyard.

From "The Criminal Conversation of Mrs. Norton":

On 10 July 1829 the Nortons' first child was born at 2 Storey's Gate. "The Sorrows of Rosalie" had paid the expenses of the birth. Fletcher Cavendish Charles Conyers Norton was a frail baby, who would always be delicate.

On October 7, 1871, a beautiful painted glass window executed at Vienna representing in one light David consoling Saul and in the other David as King was presented to the Church [at Frampion] by the Hon Caroline Eliz. Sarah Norton in memory of her eldest son Fletcher Cavendish Charles Conyers Norton who died at Paris, unmarried October 13, 1859 aged 30.
