Mrs. Mason L. Ashford, 37, of 1423 N. 23rd St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Friday afternoon at home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at Urbanek
and Schlei Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Ashford, the former Nina Jean Burch, was born May 26, 1929, at Great Falls,
Mont., daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn W. Burch. She was married to Mr.
Ashford Aug. 14, 1952 at Great Falls and they came to Manitowoc Jan. 1, 1954,
when he assumed the position of pilot for Manitowoc Engineering co.
Survivors are the husband, a son, Dan; three daughters, Shannon, Leslie Ann and
Nancy Jean, at home; four brothers, Warren of Fort Benton, Mont., Buell of Havre,
Mont., J.T., of Lewiston, Idaho and Hylon of Great Falls, and three sisters, Mrs.
Charles Brewster, Mrs. Earl Boughton and Mrs. John Ogle of Great Falls.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Monday. Memorials may be made to
the Shriners Hospital Crippled Children's Fund.
