Marian is survived by her son, ,a stepdaughter, , a sister, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Marian was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Choteau to Glenn and Beulah (Scotchbrook) Burch. She attended schools in Choteau and later in Great Falls. She married Earl Everett Boughton in Helena in 1940.
Marian worked as a waitress at the Parrot, the Blue Moon and the Coffee Cup. She was also a checker at Safeway and was a bowling instructor at Little's Lanes. Marian belonged to the Women's Bowling Association, the Women's Golfing Association and the state champion softball team for Morris Sporting Goods. She was extremely active in the Elks and the Eagles. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Everett Boughton on Feb. 14, 2004; her brothers, Gwenen, Warren, Highland and Buell; and sisters Edith and Nina.
