GALVESTON - Sister Mary Louise Dolson, O.P., born June 23, 1918, in Galveston, Texas, died September 11,1999. Sister entered the Dominican Sisters of Houston, Texas, on September 8, 1937. Sister Mary Louise began teaching in 1939 in Houston and later in San Bernardino, California,until she became formationdirector for the Houston Dominicansin 1957. She servedon the General Council for 1958-1970 and as Prioress from 1970-1978. She came back to Galvestonin 1978, to St. Peter theApostle Church where she wasdirector of religious educationuntil 1985. She taught at O'Connelland Galveston Catholic andwas director of religious educationat Sacred Heart from 1987to 1994. She touched many livesand will be sadly missed by herfamily, sister, Carol Fieselmanand husband Cliff, sister, HelenMarie Dolson, cousins, niecesand nephews, and many closefriends.There will be a memorialMass for Sister Mary Louisehere in Galveston at St. Peterthe Apostle Church on September21, 1999, at 6:30 p.m.celebrated by the Rev.
