Curtis Michael Christopherson, 42, of Walker, died Sunday, July 6, 2003, in Walker. The funeral was at Walker Community Church. Burial will be at Guthrie Cemetery in Guthrie.
He was born on July 15, 1960, to Conrad and Yvonne (Buness) Christopherson in Bemidji. He grew up and attended school in Mizpah, Nary and Laporte. Following his schooling, he married Lynn Gehrke and they lived in Cass Lake.
He worked as a logger and later learned masonry. He continued in the logging industry and later moved to Guthrie with his wife and children. He recently lived in Minneapolis and Walker. He began CES Masonry with his fiancé. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and dogs.
He is survived by his mother: daughters, Jessica Christopherson of Cass Lake and BriAnne Christopherson of Guthrie; son, Matthew Christopherson of Guthrie: three grandchildren; brother Conrad (Linda) Christopherson Jr. of Laporte; sisters, Cindy (Louie) Proulx of Guthrie, Sherry (Rick) Clyde of Laporte, and Cathy Stinar of Laporte; fiancé Sarah Estes and her daughter Ashley Arkeh of Minneapolis; grandmother, Florence Westeberg of Bemidji; and many nieces , nephews and friends.
