MEADVILLE — Services for Mary Jones Adams, 81, of Meadville, who died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Meadville under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Adams was born April 30, 1930, in Franklin County, the daughter of Jarvis P, Jones Sr. and Adeline Hutto Jones. She was a retired secretary, a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; and one great-nephew.
Survivors include two nieces, Dianne Wisner and husband, Archie, of Brandon and Patricia Carter and husband, Ed, of Natchez; one nephew, Melvin Adams and wife, Jackie, of Parrotsville, Tenn.; two great-nieces, Maria Sutherland and Alicia Enroth; two great-nephews, Paul Nelson and Russell Nelson; one godchild, Elizabeth Wentworth; one sister-in-law, Joy Dell Jones of Meadville; and 12 great-great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
