Lea Mae Moore, 85, Herrick, Illinois died October 18, 2003 at Friendship Manor, St. Elmo, Illinois. She was born May 1, 1918 in Fayette County, Illinois the daughter of Cleveland "Cleve" and Cynthia Sarver Black. She married Mark B. Moore, who died in 1988.

She was a member of the Herrick Baptist Church and worked as a bookkeeper at Modern Shoe Company, St. Louis, Missouri.

She is survived by , daughter, Mary Lou (Jim) Ginger, Herrick, Illinois; three grandchildren, Lori G. Dunaway, Oreana, Illinois; James Ginger, Round Rock, Texas; and Rick J. Ginger, O'Fallon, Illinois; brothers, Dean Black, Des Plains; Louis Black, Florida; sisters, Elsie Bauer, Herrick; Lola Elliott, Morton, Illinois; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at the Wallace-Carroll Funeral Home, Herrick, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Herrick,Baptist Church.
