Afton Campbell Taylor Walker

Afton Campbell Taylor Walker, 94 of Peoa, Utah passed away on September 13, 2000 at Rocky Mountain Care in Heber City.
She was born on May 21, 1906 in Coalville, Utah to Moses Whitaker Taylor and Sarah Campbell. She married Glenn Marchant Walker on June 10, 1931 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in April of 1933.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of LAtter-day Saints. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 1958 and taught school at Central Elementary in Heber City, Utah until her retirment.
She enjoyed reading, painting, and playing golf. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survivied by her husband Glenn, of Peoa, Utah; sons Richard Taylor (Helen) Walker of Roswell, NM; and Glenn Ronald Walker of Salt Lake City UTdaughter, Marlene (Craig) Smuin of Price, UT and a daughter-in-law, Christine Walker of Salt Lake City, UT; 18 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two sons, John Taylor Walker and Arnold Gary Walker. She is the last of ten children.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, Sept. 16, 2000 at the Peoa LDS Church where friends may call on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Peoa cemetery. Crandall Funeral Home of Kamas is in charge of Arrangements.
