Mother: Dorinda Hembree
Paternal Aunt:
Martha Patsy Chesser Ledbetter
Children: Richard M., Nancy Jane, William, Mandy, Emily, Melvina, and John C. Williams.
Possibly married a Mr. Emery after her husband's death. Not sure about the name Emery/Emory -- it came up in a conversation with one of Nancy's elderly granddaughters.... but not clearly defined. She offered it as a possible maiden name, but her maiden name appears to be Chesser... unless she was adopted by the Chessers.
UPDATE: We have a clear DNA connection to the Chesser line. She may have been referring to Dorinda's mainden name of Hembree that could have sounded like Emery.
Nancy probably died (or was incapacitated) before 10 Aug 1870 (census). Two of Nancy's youngest children (Emily & John C) are living with her married daughter, Nancy Jane Williams Eidson and family, in 1870 census.
