In the 1920 Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas census Malcolm was listed as Secretary of Public Utilities Commission at the State House.

Gladys passed away 17 Aug 1957 and was laid to rest in the Gray Family Plot at Mt. Muncie Cemetery, Lansing, Leavenworth, Kansas.
