Rebekah S. Jaques died Tuesday of causes related to age in a Battle Ground nursing home. She was 88. At her request, no funeral will be held.
Mrs. Jaques was born in Allendale, Mo., on May 4, 1900, and had lived in Battle Ground since 1940. She was a retired nurse for various hospitals. Mrs. Jaques had been a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since 1926.
Surviving Mrs. Jaques are her son, . . . ; daughters, . . . and Cora Birk of Mountainville, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jaques' husband, Joseph A., died in 1970.
Burial will be in Willamette National Cemetery, Portland.
