Angie G. Casaus, age 82, was born on December 9, 1929 in Alpine, Texas.
Angie went home to be with the Lord on January 4, 2012.
Angie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Leo and Anna Gonzáles, brothers, Natividad Gonzáles and Leo Gonzáles Jr., her husband, of 55 years Alfredo A. Casaus and two grandchildren, Anthony Casaus and Tanya Casaus.
Angie is survived her eight children, Al Casaus Jr. and his fiancée, Crystal Chávez, Michael and Isabel Casaus, Anna "Couger" Casaus, Steven Casaus, Lucille and Robert West, Angela and Ken Osborne, Julie and Christopher Chávez, David and Sandra Casaus, also numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one brother, David Gonzáles and his wife, Lucille, sister, Julie Córdova and many other friends and relatives.
The Casaus Family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. A special thank you to her neighbors, Abe and Connie Apodaca and Mr. and Mrs. Griego. A very special thank you to her Zia Hospice nurses, Joan and Liz.
Visitation will take place on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Daniels Family Funeral Service Carlisle Chapel, Albuquerque, NM from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5211 Phoenix Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM at 10:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 12:45 p.m. at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM. Pallbearers will be Al Casaus, Michael Casaus, Steve Casaus, David Casaus and sons-in-law, Robert West, Christopher Chávez and Ken Osborne.
