Osco Simpson Jr., 75 of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008. He was born December 10, 1932 in Northport, AL the son of Osco Simpson, Sr. and Agnes Bagwell. Osco served in U.S. Air force as a Staff Sergeant during the Korean Conflict. He married Anne Brown 53 years ago and then moved to Punta Gorda, FL in 1965 from Northport, AL.

He was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda, a 32nd Degree Shriner, a 30 year member of the Masonic Blue Lodge, and the Charlotte County Builders Association. He owned and operated the O. Simpson Plastering and Stucco Business. He loved reading, gardening, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by: his wife; Anne Simpson, his daughter; Diane, and husband Frank Jones of Punta Gorda, his son; Randy, and wife Toni Simpson of Punta Gorda, his brother; George, and wife Peggy Simpson of Northport, AL, his grandchildren; Jody Strattard, Cally Simpson, Osco Simpson III, and 3 great-grandchildren.
