Hazel Brunyer Reay, age 90, of Pleasant Grove, died Thursday, September 21, 1995 of natural causes at her home.
She was born August 10, 1905 in Edgement, Utah, to Charles and Mary Richmond Brunyer. She married John Fay Reay on September 2, 1925 in Helper, Utah, Carbon County. He died April 13, 1988.
Hazel was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed her duties as a homemaker with her canning, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by three sons and one daughter, John Dee Reay and Chuck Reay, both of Salt Lake City; Bill Reay of Green River; Mary Klundt of Pleasant Grove; 26 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Brunyer of Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 25, 1995 at 1 p.m. in the LDS Stake Center, 275 East 500 South, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery in Salt Lake City.
