Philip A. Schaeffer, 84, formerly of 304 E. Arch St., Fleetwood, died Sunday in Kutztown Manor. He was the husband of Emma L. (Kershner) Schaeffer, who died in 1986.
A farmer until 1963, he was employed by the Fleetwood School District for 12 years before retiring in 1976.
Born in Richmond Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Alfred and Mary (Adam) Schaeffer.
He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda L., wife of Douglas Weidner of Allentown, and a grandchild.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Mae A. Stump Funeral Home, 117 W. Main St., Fleetwood. A calling hour will precede the services.
