Frank Whitley, second son of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whitley, was
born April 18, 1885, near Courtland,
Kan., and departed this life May
19, 1953, at his home, at the age
of 68 years, 1 month and 1 day
He graduated as an undertaker from a
college in Billings, MT.
On October 6, 1911, he was
united in marriage to Ida Bell
Creech at Bentonville, Ark.
He. was preceeded in death by
his parents and one sister, Mrs.
Gust Freed.
He is survived by the wife, Ida
Bell; one son, Willie (Bill)of Bentonville,
Ark.; one daughter, Mrs.
Charlie (Evelyn) Sjolander of Scandia;
Six grandchildren; one brother,
Estus, two half-brothers,
Tom and Ray of Wichita; two half-sisters,
Mrs. Clarence Barhart of Michigan
and Mary Whitley of Chicago and
nieces and nephews and host of friends who mourn his passing.
Interment was made in
Poplar Grove cemetery
