Gerald R. Paulus, 67, of Broadway Street, died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 1996, at his residence.
He was a lifelong resident of Superior. He served in the Air Force. He was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad as a switchman for more than 30 years, retiring in 1985.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Sheree) Paulus of Superior and Bradley Paulus of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a daughter, Lori Paulus of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Joseph (Theresa) Paulus of Chetek, Wis., and David (Mary) Paulus of Superior.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Alice (Meteraud) Paulus, two brothers, James and Richard Paulus, and a sister, Shirley Gustafson.
Visitation: 6 p.m. until the 7 p.m. memorial service on Sunday in Downs Funeral Home in Superior.
