YARMOUTH
Death of N S Simpkins

Nathaniel Stone Simpkins, the eldest son of the late John and Ruth (Sears) Simpkins, died yesterday at his summer home in Hamilton after a long illness.
Mr Simpkins was born in Brooklyn 58 years ago and was graduated from Columbia university.
In his boyhood Mr Simpkins spent much time at the family home here but for a number of years has been an infrequent visitor.
He married Miss Mabel Jenks of New York who survives him.He also leaves three sons,Capt John Simpkins,Lieut. Willard S Simpkins,and Tudor Simpkins, a daughter Mrs Walter Tufts Jr.,a brother C R Simpkins,and two sisters, Mrs Bayrad Thayer and Mrs George R Agassiz.Another son Capt Nathaniel S Simpkins Jr died in France during the war.
Funeral services will be held here on Wednesday.

YARMOUTH
The funeral for Mr Nathaniel Stone Simpkins took place at Hamilton on Wednesday.The officiating clergyman was Rev William Greenough Thayer D D ,head master at St Mark's School,Southboro, where Mr Simpkins and other members of his family prepared for college.The music was furnished by a small choir from the Church of the Advent under the direction of organist Francis W Snow.The hymns used were "Hark,Hark,my Soul", "Sun of my Soul",and "Abide with Me".There were no pallbearers or ushers.The burial was at Woodside Cemetery,Yarmouthport,Wednesday.The arrival here was by automobile late in the afternoon.
