Todd was a 2005 graduate of Minneola High School and also graduated from Dodge City Community College. He graduated with a Bachelor and Master's Degree in accounting from Emporia State University. He worked as a tax clerk for Grant Thornton accounting firm in Wichita. Todd enjoyed fishing, reading, collecting old movies, and especially James Bond memorabilia . He loved playing sports and was an avid Duke Blue Devils basketball fan.
He was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi, and was involved in the student government as a student ambassador and also as a SWARM Leader at Emporia State University.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Cathy Fitzsimmons of Dodge City; two sisters, Sarah Fitzsimmons of Dodge City and Melody Kerr and husband Jeremy of Overland Park, Kansas; two grandmothers, Lillian Fitzsimmons and Roberta Cook both of Dodge City. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Don Fitzsimmons and James Cook.
