Mrs. Margaret May Mudd, 88, formerly of Springfield, died at 12:15 a.m. Monday in Detroit. Mrs. Mudd, who was born in Glenarm, was a Springfield resident for many years. She was the widow of Edward Mudd, who died in 1947. She is survived by a son, Joseph J. Dillon of Detroit; a grandson, Maj. R. E. Dillon of the U.S. Army; a granddaughter, Mrs. James G. Lee of Bay Village, Ohio; and seven great-grandchildren. Remains are at Kirlin and Egan Funeral Home. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. B. Schwarz officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
