Lillian Baker, 99, of Three Springs, died at 12:45 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2004, at Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia. Born May 22, 1904, at Three Springs, she was the daughter of the late Clay and Alice (Hudson) Park. She was married to Charles Roy Baker on June 28, 1928. Mr. Baker died Aug. 12, 1974. Surviving her are three children: Mrs. Wallace (Norma) Newman, Chambersburg; Edwin R. Baker, Three Springs; and Irene B. Miller, Three Springs. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and 10 great-grea-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Max Park, Three Springs. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Carl, Raymond, Rex, Harold and Alfred; and four sisters, Ora Hess, Margaret Fleck, Mary Peterson and Edith Bard; and one granddaughter and one great-grandson. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church of Saltillo, along with the Three Springs Senior Center. She graduated with the Saltillo High School Class of 1925. During her life she was a homemaker. Interment, Three Springs Cemetery.
