CARL HAGEMANN SERVICES IN CALIFORNIA

Carl Munson Hagemann was born April 17, 1907 to Ernest and Effie (Ellis) Hagemann in Phillips County, and departed this life on July 6, 1984 in Sacramento, California

Carl's mother died when he was six months old and he was raised by his aunt and stepmother, Ida Hagemann. He attended school at Liberty School and graduated from there in 1920. He was married to Amber Hinck on September 17, 1930. Five children were born to this union.

Carl farmed for many years in the Holyoke area. He moved to Holyoke in 1955, where he operated a tavern for several years. He moved to Sacramento, California in 1975 where he made his home with his daughter, Retha.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother and two children, Delores and Gordon. He is survived by three children, Carl Allyn Hagemann of Lawndale, California, Retha Ann Helms and Roger Keith Hagemann, both of Sacramento, California; three brothers, Clarence, Harold and Howard, all of Holyoke; two sisters, Edith Gentry of Lakewood and Ethel Hagemann of Holyoke; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
