Mrs. Emily Rudd, who has been sick for some time at the home of her son, John Rudd, in the southwest part of town, died about 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning. She was sixty five years old and had been afflicted with stomach and heart trouble. Mrs. Rudd was the widow of James H. Rudd and leaves three children: Mrs. G. F. Lewis of Ashville, Ind., Mrs. J. T. Lydick and John Rudd. Ausburn Rudd was a stepson. The funeral occurred Tuesday morning and was preached by Rev. Buckles. The burial was at Amo.
