Mrs. Mary E. West, 86, wife of Francis M. West died yesterday morning at the family residence, 2202 Avenue C. she had been ill bout three weeks. Funeral services will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Louis Ripley, former pastor of Epworth Methodist Church. Mrs. West was born in Indiana and became the wife of Francis M. West at Knoxville, IA, in 1860. The couple removed to Council Bluffs in 1881. There are four children, three daughters and one son.
