A native and lifelong resident of Breckenridge, Mr. Gray graduated from the high school there and was a farmer. He was a member of the Methodist Church and American Legion Post No. 363, both of Breckenridge.
In 1944, Mr. Gray married the former Margaret Rex in Los Angeles, Calif. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include a son, John of Hamilton, Mo.; two daughters, Constance of Easton, Mo., and Brenda of Kearney, Mo.; a sister, Marion Armentrout of Liberty, Mo.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert.
