Alice was the daughter of Harry Alexander and Florence (Gray) Evertz. Her siblings were Harry Alexander Jr 1906, and Edward Gray 1914. She married Horace Banta in 1928. They had three sons Bruce Ferris 1932-85, Peter Gray 1935, and David Horace 1938.
