The News (Frederick, MD) - March 6, 1998

Mrs. Eva A. White, 94, of Takoma Park, died Wednesday, March 4, at Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Leonard White.

Born April 15, 1903, in Boyds, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Addie Welling Heffner.

Surviving are a grandson, Jason Goldsboro, and a niece, June Bodmer. Mrs. White was preceded in death by a son, James Goldsborough, and a sister, Mary H. Roberson.

Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, where the family will receive friends from noon until time of funeral services Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

Memorial donations may be made to Dickerson United Methodist Church, Box 66, Dickerson,Md. 20842.

The Rev. Carletta Allen of Hughes United Methodist Church, Wheaton, officiated.

Bearers were Nancy Bodmer, Gary Bodmer, Robert Bodmer, Ronald Bodmer and Jason Goldsborough. Interment was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
