Ralph Libby Goodwin, 61m of 26 Prospect Street, Springvale, died Tuesday at the H.D. Goodall Hospital.

He was born September 18, 1909, in Lebanon, son of Frank and Nettie Libby Goodwin. He had resided here for 14 years and was employed as a truck driver by the Sanford Highway Department.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Beal Goodwin; two sons, Dana C. Goodwin, Sanford, and Melton E. Goodwin, Alfred; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Gammon, Sanford, and Mrs. Robert (Fay) Precourt, Springvale; two brothers, Raymond Goodwin, Lebanon, and Albert Goodwin, Waterboro; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Gerrish, Lebanon, and Mrs. Beatrice Normandeau, Sanford; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Carll-Heald Funeral Home, 61 Main Street Springvale. The Rev. Paul F. Keirstead, pastor of the Pleasant Street Free Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, North Lebanon.
