Alton's cremains were placed in the casket of his wife Myrtle when she was buried in July 2021.

On the farm at Box Springs, Georgia ~ standing, left to right: Alton, Lester, Myrtle holding Penny; Ginger standing by Rae Jean (seated, with Angie in lap). This farm was purchased by Dock & Lizzie (ROBINSON) SIZEMORE about 1939, when Ft. Benning expanded and took their land in Chattahoochee County. At the time of this photo (about 1956), the farm was owned by Archie & Ethel (SIZEMORE) ADERHOLD. Several years after Ethel died in 1966, the farm property was sold by her children.
