COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Louise L. Kelly, 93, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012, at St. Luke Lutheran Church with interment in Southland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church assembly room. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 1127 Olympia Ave., Columbia, SC 29201. Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia is assisting the family.Mrs. Kelly was born January 23, 1918, in Richland County, and passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Jesse W. Lowman and Eunice McDonald Lowman. Mrs. Kelly was a lifetime resident of the Olympia community and had retired from Kirkland Kiddie Koop.Surviving are her sons, J.D. Kelly and Pete Kelly (Ardis) of Columbia; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Morgan J. Lowman of Essex, MD; sisters, Nola Rinehart of Columbia, and Lavinia L. Shull of Lexington. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband, Archie B. Kelly Sr; son, A.B.
