Found in The State 04 June 1972: Archie B. Kelly Sr., 59, of 831 Ohio St., died at his home Saturday of an apparent heart attack. Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Drayton C. and Mary Wingard Kelly. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and was a retired driver with Checker-Yellow Cab Co. Services will be today at 5 p.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Otto F. Reenstjerna. Burial will be in Southland Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Danny Lowman, Douglas Shull, Paul Cook, Barney Kelly Jr., J. W. Lundy, Nelson Rhinehart, Allen Toomey and W. T. Scruggs. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Louise Lowman Kelly of Columbia; three sons, A. B. Kelly Jr. of West Columbia and J. D. and Pete Kelly of Columbia; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Lee Cooper and Mrs. Leona Roland of West Columbia, Mrs. Grace Cook of Columbia, Mrs. Ruby Zwolinski of New Jersey and Mrs. Lula Mae Hart of Cayce; three brothers, Harry and Barney Kelly of Columbia and Burley Kelly of Cayce.
