Daughter of August GIRARD & Eloise COTE. She immigrated to the U.S. from French Canada in 1893. At age 19y she was employed as a spooler in a woolen mill. Parmelia was married first at Precious Blood Church, Woonsocket, Providence Co., RI, on 27 Oct 1902, to Aime PELLETIER [1880-1915]. They were parents of 7 sons: Donat, Leo, Raoul, Rene, Alco, Arthur & Aime PELLETIER. The widow, Parmelia Girard PELLETIER was married second, 6 Oct 1917 to my paternal Grandfather, Amedee Jean-Baptiste GAUTHIER [1869-1928]. To this union were born: An infant, b. & d. 1918; Raoul GAUTHIER b. 21 Aug 1920; and Rita C. GAUTHIER [1922-1969].
