Memorial services for Mimi Nissen Campbell, 95, of Spencer, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Warner Funeral Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Brian McNamara will officiate.

Mrs. Campbell's son, Don, and his family, will be holding a memorial service at the same time in Portland, Oregon.

Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer, Iowa.

Mrs. Campbell died June 5, at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer, Iowa.

Mrs. Campbell, the daughter of William and Louise Reimers Nissen, was born February 11, 1896 in Wesselburen, Germany. Her childhood years were spent in Renwick and Laverne, where she received her early education.

She married Lee H. Campbell on November 23, 1914 in Lotts Creek. Following their marriage, they moved to Cedar Falls, where her husband received his education at the University of Northern Iowa. Upon graduation, he taught at several communities in Iowa before moving to Spencer in 1929. They retired and moved to New Mexico and California. Upon her husband's death, she moved back to Spencer in 1961. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; eight brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by two sons; Don, of Portland, Oregon, and Knox, of Spencer; two daughters; Louise Eggers of Redwood City, California, and Joan Waggie of Spencer; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
