Miss Mary Bear, 99, formerly of Plainfield who has resided In the Waynesboro Mennonite Home the past 18 months, died late yesterday afternoon.

The daughter of the late Henry and Katherine Longenecker Bear, she Is survived by three cousins, Mrs. J.D. Paul, Mrs. Mary Cudlip and Miss Mary McBride, all of Carlisle.

She was a member of the Church of God at Plainfield.

Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Shulenberger Funeral Home, with burial in the Church of God Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Services for Mary Bear, who died Monday in the Mennonite Home in Waynesboro, were held Thursday afternoon from the Shulenberger Funeral Home, with Rev. H.P. Johns and Rev. S.E. Vance officiating. Burial was in the Church of God Cemetery at Plainfield. Pallbearers were John and Clarence Brown, L.D. Calaman, Charles Brehm, Fred Lehman and Chester Snyder.
