DEATHS.
Mrs. Catharine Bear, wife of the late Henry Bear, residing at Plainfield, died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. She had been ill for one year and her immediate cause of death was due to acute indigestion. Mrs. Bear was in her 84th year, a consistent member of the Church of God, was a most estimable wife and mother, one whose sympathy was always exercised in behalf of the poor. She is survived by an only daughter, Miss Mary Bear, one sister, wife of John W. Bear, of Los Angeles, Cal., and a brother, John K. Longnecker, of Carlisle.
Funeral services in Bethel at Plainfield at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Interment in cemetery adjoining.
