Wig served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII under Gen. George Patton. He married Florence Braden, and was employed as a welder with Whitco Chemical Co., PA, retiring after 38 years of service.
Wig was a member of Moose Lodge #987, Greenfield, American Legion Post #119, Greenfield, and attended St. Michael's Catholic Church, Greenfield.
Wig is survived by his wife of 70 years, Florence Tomasello; daughters, Sally Francois and Fran DeJarnett (Elden); grandchildren, Kim (Joel) Nelson, Elden DeJarnett, Jr. and Andre G. Francois, Jr; and five great grandchildren.
