Mrs. Mary Slack died Saturday at her home in Holyoke at the age of 81 years. Her condition had been serious for only a few days. Mrs. Slack, whose maiden name was Mary Good, was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, July 19, 1851, removing with her parents to Davis County, Iowa, where she was married to W.R. Slack January 3, 1869.

Later the family moved to Wayne County, Iowa, and then to Holyoke where Mrs. Slack made her home until her death.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter; W. R. Slack, George Slack and Mrs. C.A. Stiles of Holyoke and J.L. Slack and J.R. Slack of Gordon, Nebraska. Three of her brothers, B.F.
