Marque passed away June 1,
1994 at Mainland Center Hospital.
Funeral service will be at
10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4,
1994 at Emken-Linton with Rev.
Paul D. Jagoe officiating. Burial
will follow with a Masonic
graveside service conducted by
Tucker Lodge No. 297 AF & Am
of Galveston at Grace Memorial
Park in Hitchcock.
Visitation will be held from
5p.m. till 9p.m. at the funeral
home with the Mainland Elks
Lodge No. 2141 of La Marque
will conduct a service at 7p.m.
Friday at the funeral home.
Born December 22, 1919 in
Hillside, Texas. He was a retired
vice-president of repair and construction
at G & H Towing Co.
He was a member of St.
Michaels Episcopal Church in
La Marque; Tucker Lodge #297
AF & AM in Galveston; Mainland
Elks Lodge No. 2141 in La
Marque and he served in the
U.S. Navy during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his
wife of 55 years Helen Anders;
grandson, Thomas E. Minshew
and son-in-law, Curtis Minshew.
Survivors include, son and
daughter-in-law, Robert Anders,
Jr. and wife Janet, Houston; son,
Charles Earl Anders, Texas
City; daughter, Janet L. Minshew,
La Marque; daughter and
son-in-law, Barbara J. Trimble
and husband Luther, Houston;
sisters, Dorothy Irvine, Hillshire,
Tx, Mary Putegnat,
Galveston, Tx, 9 grandchildren
and 16 great grandchildren and
numerous nieces and nephews
