CLINTON, Ky.--Services for Frank Martin, 83, of Clinton will be at 8 p.m. today at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Arlington. The Rev. Wallace Vaughn and Rev. Ronnie Stinson will officiate. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant View Memorial Gardens in Fulton.
He died at 8:45 p.m. Thursday at Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F.
Mr. Martin was a retired farmer. A decorated U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he served in the South Pacific and earned a Bronze Star. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are four daughters, Barbara M. Wilham of Franklin, Ind., Harriet M. Fuller of New Lenox, Ill., Sherry Spicer of Powell, Tenn., and Vicki M. Sherrod of Humboldt, Tenn.; one son, Robert Franklin Martin Jr. of Clinton ; three sisters, Gladys Albritton of Mayfield, Mildred Creed of Reidland and Dovie McGee of Lake Station, Ind.; one brother, Newt Washington Martin Jr. of Frisco, N.C.; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Eunice Birdie Ferguson Martin; five sisters; and six brothers. His parents were Newt Washington Martin and Nellie Jemima Warf Martin.
